Help the world understand
and embrace cultivated meat
Join our Try & Share trial, the first cultivated meat dog treat trial in the EU. Receive free, science-backed dog treats made from real animal cells. Cultivated, cruelty-free, without antibiotics, or hormones.
Clean, nutritious, and kind. Backed by science. Made with care.
And you’re invited to help us test it in the real world.
Why this matters
We’re not here to launch a pet food brand – we’re here to open the market for cultivated meat and help people understand its potential. This trial is about gathering real insight: learning what real dogs and their owners think about cultivated meat. In everyday homes, not just in labs or slideshows.
Every wag, every pause, every post you share helps shape how this new kind of protein fits into the world, whether it’s made by us or by others who follow.
What is cultivated meat?
Cultivated meat is made from animal cells, not animals. It’s the same protein at its core, just grown in controlled conditions without slaughter, antibiotics, or growth hormones.
Think of it as meat 2.0: safe, clean, and made with science without suffering. It’s real meat – just made differently.
How It Works
This is a real-world test of cultivated meat.
One of the first of its kind.
Your transparency helps us learn and improve.
We’ve made it simple. A 3-step journey.
For you. For your dog. For the future of food.
Try & Share Program
Feed & Film
Give your dog 3 treats a day for 7 days. Snap a photo or film their first bite, treat face, or snack dance (more on how-to’s later).
What to Expect
Here’s a quick look at what happens once you sign up:
Week 0:
Your Kit Arrives
You’ll get a 7-day supply of cultivated dog treats, a welcome card, simple instructions on how
the trial works, and a brief guide on how to capture great Try & Share moments. Your job is to feed, observe, and share. Important: Stick to your dog’s regular diet the week before the trial and make sure they are healthy before you start. Keep the treats sealed in a cool, dry place.
Day 1:
The First Bite
It’s go time. Feed your dog 2-3 treats a day (not more). Follow their usual treat habits and
always give them fresh water. Capture that first bite, snack face, or tail-wag moment. Don’t forget to tag @BeneMeat and use #FirstBite and #TryAndShare.
Days In-between:
Pictures, Reactions
Keep observing how your dog reacts and take notes. Important: Don’t introduce new foods or treats during the 7 days and don’t replace meals with these treats – they are not meant to be complete food. And take great pictures of their reactions, of course!
Day 7:
Final Day – Share & Submit
All qualified participants will be entered into our giveaway trial and the winner gets to come see us in Prague and visit our production facility. We’ll announce the results of the giveaway and share our learnings via e-mail and social media. Oh, and some lucky top dogs will be featured in our showcase!
After the Trial:
All qualified participants will be entered into our giveaway and the winner gets to come see us in Prague and visit our production facility.
Keep observing how your dog reacts and take notes. And take great pictures of their reactions, of course!
What We Ask of You: Trial How-to’s
Your dog is now part of something big. Let’s do it right.
Follow these steps to help us collect valuable insights that we can all trust.
Watch this First
A short walkthrough of how to feed, film, and share like a pro.
Then, it’s
onto the T’s:
Treat
To get ready, keep your pup’s regular diet unchanged for a whole week. Make sure your pup is healthy (no severe allergies, or gastrointestinal issues) before you start. Store the treats in a cool, dry place, tightly closed. When you start, feed your pup 2-3 (but not more than 3) cultivated treats every day for the next 7 days. Give the treat by hand or in a bowl and follow your dog’s usual treat habits. And always give them fresh water. Consistency helps us with the trial results credibility! And, if your pet enjoys the treats, there should be a few more left over for their enjoyment after the trial is over.
A few key don’ts: Don’t introduce new foods or treats during the seven days. And don’t replace meals with these treats. They are not a complete food.
Track
Watch how they react and take photos or short videos: their first sniff, first bite, tail wags, the best “treat face”, the nap after. Try to use natural light when filming or photographing. Keep it unedited. Authentic reactions are best! Don’t over-direct. No pressure, no performance. Just real reactions.
A few key things to watch for:
- Acceptance: Did your pup eat it all? Partially? Or did they refuse?
- Reactions: Are they excited? (Tail wagging, asking for more) Or, are they neutral or hesitant?
- Your view: What do you think? (Smell, looks, packaging, overall impression)
- Anything unusual?
Please take notes!

Real Feedbacks
“A win win win win win experience! Happy dog (tasty treats!), Happy dog mom (easy trial & a win for animals), good nutrition (backed by science), hope for animals and the planet!”
Emilie & Boston | France
“I’ve seen how much my dog enjoys these treats — and that means a lot to me! Not only are they tasty for him, but they’re also made with high-quality ingredients, which I really appreciate. I love their size, natural scent, and the beautiful, modern packaging. Sam loves crunchy treats, so this is a perfect start! Maybe in the future, it would be great to have a few different varieties to choose from.”
Aneta & Sam | Czechia
“My dog loved the treats; after receiving one, he wanted more. They would be great for training, as my dog was very motivated to receive them.”
Agnieszka & Groot | Poland
“I was very excited and deeply hoped that he would like them…I was totally happy to see him enjoying his first treat and asking for more.”
Heléna & Fresco | Germany
“You guys are awesome! We wholeheartedly enjoyed this experience ???? I truly believe that we are in a great moment in history where pet parents really are deciding giving and acting the best they can not only for their pets but also for the world we live in. We have a choice. That is our super power. And choosing to give treats that are antibiotics\hormones free and cruelty free among all the choices, is a strong value. So, congrats!”

FAQs
Is this safe for my dog?
Yes. The treats are made using cultivated meat that is grown safely from animal cells without antibiotics, hormones, or unpredictable additives. They’re produced under strict quality controls and reviewed by our scientific and veterinary team. This is a test sample, not a commercial product, but it’s designed for safety and digestibility.
What are the treats made of?
The cultivated meat used in our Try & Share dog treat program is made from hamster (Cricetulus griseus) in a fully controlled environment. Safety is the foundation of our Ethical Codex, and every part of our process reflects that commitment.
It is free of known allergens and produced under sterile conditions without antibiotics, hormones, or unnecessary additives. Our production follows strict EU feed regulations. The treats also follow FEDIAF labeling and safety guidelines and every batch is traceable, quality-controlled, and responsibly made to provide a clean and safe source of protein for pets.
What if my dog refuses the treat?
That’s helpful feedback too! Every reaction counts. If your dog isn’t interested, please still
complete the final survey so we can learn what works and what doesn’t.
Can I opt out midway through?
Of course. If anything doesn’t feel right, you can stop at any time. We just ask that you let us know why, so we can improve. Your pet’s well-being comes first.
How will my content be used?
Photos and videos you share may be reused by Bene Meat Technologies for scientific, educational, or communication purposes, with respect and appreciation. You’ll be asked to agree during sign-up. We won’t share anything without your consent.
Do I need to pay anything?
Nope. Participation is completely free, including the treats and shipping.
